*Shout out to Doug Neill for helping me with my first sketchnote video. Thanks to YouTube, I located tutorials for creating sketchnote videos. The process above is similar to what he explained in his videos.

Now, let ME try!

Overall, this was a bit overwhelming. First, the recording of myself, then the audio, and to top it off, combining both together. Throughout the project, I did take a lot of breaths and took each part of this creation step by step. At one point, I was thinking I may have to re-record my video due to technical issues. With my perseverance, I figured out a solution. I was able to use “Add Freeze Frame” to my iMovie so the video could freeze, and I could still play the audio.

I would like to implement sketchnotes in the classroom with certain subjects my students will learn. It would be an alternative to writing typical notes. It would also spark up the artists in my classroom but with a meaningful purpose. Sketchnoting would be an effective way to present information to colleagues. Presenting a sketchnote would entice others and draw them in to present new information using visuals. I know if I were given a sketchnote compared to multiple papers with information, I would go for the sketchnote.
